The Latest Urban Knits – Wool is Cool this Winter!

Knitting has got a bit trendy in recent years.  There has been a major resurgence in this homely craft and now many of the hottest street artists are including knits in their cutting edge work. 

The internet is full of images of famous statues around the world wearing oversized knitted scarves or balaclavas and trees in city parks accessorized with knitted sleeves.  All around the globe knitting has taken hold of the urban landscape and this has made sure that wool is now cool!

Fashionable Knits
This phenomenon has spilled over into the urban fashion world.  Before you would have been hard pressed to spot any kind of knitted garment in top urban fashion stores.  Now knits are creepy back in and wool is making a big comeback.  This is wonderful news as wool is a great material for clothing as it is natural, sustainable and very practical for winter.
