Why Atticus?

The origins of the brand name comes mainly from the cult American novel ˜To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. The main character was called Atticus and in the novel he stood for many key themes including respect, freedom and independence. The logo of the brand refers to this by depicting a bird lying on is back in a symbolic ˜death' position. Atticus is also the name of a Greek rhetorician who was a famous supporter of the music and arts in his time.
