Rogue Status
Rogue Status is one of the hottest streetwear labels to come out of Los Angeles. This urban brand was founded in 2005 by two designers with strong links to street culture, Johan Esbensen and Rex Holloway. Esbensen had been interested in the streetwear scene for many years and had previously worked for another popular urban label (UNDTFD). He designed his own AWOL t-shirt range in 2000 purely as a promotional tool but this proved so popular he was soon expanding the range. With input from top urban streetwear names such as pro skater Rob Dyrdek and rock drummer Travis Barker the idea for the Rogue Status clothing was born and Esbensen went into partnership with fellow street art enthusiast Rex Holloway. Always cutting edge and sometimes controversial, Rogue Status is an instantly recognisable urban fashion brand with a huge following all around the world.
