Starting out back in 1918, two eagle-eyed entrepreneurs, C.N Williamson and E.E "Colonel" Dickie, along with a few close friends created the U.S Overall Company. This humble beginning would later prove to be the roots to one of the biggest clothing manufactures the United States will ever see. After some restructuring in 1922, the company, now known as Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company enjoyed steady growth, and was only slowed down by the Great Depression, and also took a change in direction when requested to produce the millions of uniforms for the United States armed forces during the Second World War. The end of the war saw the company adopt a systematic expansion an establishment of new production facilities throughout the US, as well as international expansion into the European and Middle Eastern markets via Texan oilmen.
