Volcom Clothing was born out of a deep passion and commitment to the ethos of street culture.  Two friends (Tucker Hall and Richard Woolcott) set up the brand back in the early 1990s after an inspirational snowboarding trip.  They were so impressed by the lifestyle surrounding urban sports they were motivated to set up their own street brand.  Volcom is not just about clothing but the celebration of a culture that advocates freedom of expression.  The main philosophy behind the brand is ‘youth against establishment’ and the designs aim to celebrate youthful creativity and find new ways forward into the future. The brand has become known for its comfortable, hardwearing and classic street styles that really stand the test of time.  Volcom is also a highly active brand in the world of urban sport and art and has taken significant steps to help conserve and protect the environment for generations to come.
